I Shouldn’t Have to do This

For some reason, I often get emails from people who are offended by something I’ve said on this site. Following my recent article on Childline, I received the following example of one such email:

I just read your article on childline and I thnk you are a fucking dick. You don’t know what they spend their money on, so how can you act like they could do better????? The can’t spend all their money every year, they will have to have some left wont they??????????

You act like you know more than anyone else, but you dont know anything. Your website is full of hatred and you obviously think you are better than everyone else. Maybe you should look in the mirror and take a long look at yourself, then you’d see that you’re just a hate filled sad little boy.

Childline offer a good service and they are doing the best they can with the money available to them, just because you hate helping other people doesn’t mean you should encourage other people to do the same.

I’m sorry, did you ask me a question????? I couldn’t actually read it because there were??????????? so many???????? question marks??????????? maybe???????? you?????????? should just????????????? use??????????? one????????? like a normal???????????? human???????????being???????????????????????????????

Also, your stunning observation that I think I’m better than everyone else is made rather less impressive by the fact that I’ve flat out said that I think I’m better than everyone else on numerous occasions throughout the site. Telling me this like it’s some kind of revelation makes you look completely moronic, especially bearing in mind that you did so through an email that unleashed question marks on me like a fucking biblical plague.

With regards the specific bitch like moan you seem to have, of course they can’t spend all their money by the end of the year, that is true. But at the same time, let me ask you this: If the money just overflows to next year, how come there isn’t a section in the ‘Where our money comes from’ graph that says ‘money left over from last year’? There isn’t one, so they obviously don’t roll it over.
