24 things wrong with 24

1 > At the beginning of series 1, President Palmer is in happy relationship with his wife. At the end of series 1, they have split up. It was supposed to be 1 day. You can’t destroy a marriage in one day, before that happens, someone would get pissed off and yell “Look, let’s just talk about this in series 2…I mean tomorrow”.

2 > Jack hasn’t had a job at CTU since series 1, yet still works there.

3 > They still haven’t put a fucking block on mobile phone use in the CTU building despite it being patently obvious that half their staff are terrorist spies.

4 > The girl that used to pole jack, the secretary of defences daughter, the one in 3rd watch, her. Well her face is too pointy.

5 > They put the hobbit in charge, then fired him 2 hours later.

6 > Jack manages to get across the entire of America in every episode, despite it supposedly only spanning 1 hour.

7 > In series 1, Nina was constantly doing stuff that ruined all the terrorists plans, then at the end, in the absence of any genuinely clever plot twist anyone could think of, she turned out to be one. A better spy plan would have been to have one that was actually helpful, as if it hadn’t been for her the terrorists would have won about 50 times by the time she decided to do something.

8 > That fucking ring tone.

9 > They still don’t listen to Jack, despite him being right on a Columbo level of consistency.

10 > They killed Shepell…stupid.

11> Computers don’t work like that…not even a little bit.

12 > I’m bored of terrorists.

13 > People think it’s realistic…I swear to you there are people out there who think it’s realistic.

14 > I didn’t see series 2, so can’t talk about how shit it is.

15 > Is Nina dead yet, I bet she’ll be back in it.

16 > It’s supposed to be an entire day, yet nobody eats, drinks or goes to the toilet. Think of your prostate Jack.

17 > Kim got kidnapped 15 times in one day.

18 > It’s not as good as McGuyver.

19 > His wife died at the end of series 1, that was shit.

20 > His wife was a bit of a howler, Jack Bower was supposed to be cool, they could have given him a better looking wife

21 > They make Jack more extreme each series, he’ll be raping babies by series 10.

22 > Something to do with Tony…I remember something pissed me off.

23 > The fact other people now use the 24 tone as their ring tone.

24 > The fact I still watch it, despite knowing how shit it is.
